This elegant wine is dark crimson, dazzling in a violet hue with an appealing aroma of blueberry, dark chocolate and a hint of liquorice. The silky smooth palate displays typical characteristics of pepper and spice complemented by notes of black forest cake and sweet vanillin oak along with integrated velvety tannins.

The Shiraz was picked from various vineyards, and treated as individual parcels. This Shiraz had a delicate but rich tannin, so the wine was matured in both 4500L large format oak and 300L small format oak. The composition in small format oak was in New American oak to give the wine some vanillin character adding to the complexity.
