- Winemaking
This vintage presented the rare opportunity to co-ferment Shiraz with 9% Viognier, enhancing balance and aromatic lift. The Shiraz from Cowra was rich and ripe, showcasing vibrant redcurrant fruit, while the Viognier, picked earlier, contributed freshness and structure. The result is a well-integrated, complex wine with lifted aromatics and a rounded mid-palate. The co-fermentation process brings depth and finesse, reinforcing why this style remains one of the most expressive and sought-after Rhône-inspired blends.
