A particular winemaking process is to 'bleed' some juice off to intensify the flavours from the skins. Following this, the wine spent 4 months in 500L casks before being transferred into larger format oak casks for a further 8 months for maturation.

Spicy aromas of roasted capsicum and thyme followed by dark cherry notes. A medium bodied wine, the palate is smooth with a pronounced tannin structure.
