2018 Seasons Cabernet Sauvignon
In Bordeaux, France the marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is foundational. Unsurprisingly its most common to see these blended throughout Australia as well. We have a Merlot Cabernet blend, but we also feel our Cabernet doesn’t have to fit the mould cast by the regions who have set the expected standard. We believe it can stand on its own. With grape parcels originating from North NSW in the New England region as well as the Central Ranges ours has resulted in a medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of blackcurrants and violets. The tannins are that of a typical Cabernet which aid in giving this wine its elegant overall presence.
