The tradition of grape growing began here in 1837 and has expanded over the years to embrace the maritime climate. Chambourcin is a hybrid that was purposely planted here for its characteristics. As a young fresh wine it exhibits flavours of ripe cherry and mulberry with spicy and savoury overtones. The 2009 vintage is light to medium bodied, smooth on the palate with a lingering fruity finish.
