Stone Circle Regional Range Hunter Valley Verdehlo

2008 Hunter Valley Verdelho

Hunter Valley Verdelho is the benchmark for this varietal in Australia. 2008 Tumbarumba Chardonnay

Tumbarumba, nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, is one of Australia’s premium cool climate wine growing regions. The high altitude and the long ripening periods allow fruit of exceptional quality and finesse to be produced. Chardonnays from Tumbarumba are characterized by crisp melon, fig and citrus flavours, balanced by a unique mineral acidity that lingers on the palate.

Stone Circle Regional Range Hastings Chambourcin

2009 Hastings River Chambourcin

This elegant Chambourcin is an example of the exciting wines that are being produced from the Hastings River region. The tradition of grape growing began here in 1837 and has expanded over the years to embrace the maritime climate. Chambourcin is a hybrid that was purposely planted here for its characteristics.  As a young fresh wine it exhibits flavours of ripe cherry and mulberry with spicy and savoury overtones. The 2009 vintage is light to medium bodied, smooth on the palate with a lingering fruity finish.

Fruit for this wine was grown in a very special location at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in the exciting New England region. The exceptional climatic conditions of the area, combined with high altitudes, produce sleek and sophisticated wines. Shiraz is characterized by flavours of blackberry, mocha and plums with an influence of pepper and spice.

This Australian sparkling wine is sourced from fruit grown in various regions throughout NSW and is a delicate pale yellow with persistent beading. Its appealing bouquet is full of lifted melon, citrus and green apple. The palate is lively and refreshing with a creamy mousse, while the finish is fresh, crisp and clean.

This wine is a vibrant young Shiraz caressed by a small amount of Viognier. It is dark plum in colour with a dazzling crimson hue. Senses are enticed with aromas of blackcurrants, mulberries, and rich dark chocolate. A silky smooth palate has juicy flavours of ripe black cherries, cassis and forest berries, laced with an explosion of sweet vanillan oak.
