This Durif is deep black in colour with an intense purple hue. Aromas of violets, espresso, and ripe blackberries evoke the essence of luxuriant, concentrated fruit. On the palate, this vibrant wine displays flavours of mulberries, sweet cherries and mocha, entwined with star anise and an explosion of vanillan oak. A full-bodied wine with a firm structure, which supports a substantial lingering finish.
This wine will drink well now, but will be marvellous in 5 to 8 years.
